Cash and drugs seized, and three people arrested

Two 35-year-old men and a 34-year-old woman, who were arrested in connection with this incident, have been released on bail.

Several thousand pounds of cash and class A and B drugs have been seized from a property in Blyton following a warrant carried out by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT).

The warrant was carried out at Station Road around 10am this morning with support from the Tactical Support Team and the dog unit following intelligence about illegal activity at the address.

The property was searched by specially-trained officers and the cash and drugs located and seized.

Officers remained on scene until mid-afternoon, and our investigation is continuing.  

Two 35-year-old men and a 34-year-old woman have been arrested of on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drug, and remain in police custody where they will be interviewed.

Tackling drugs is a Neighbourhood Policing Priority for the area, and we work year-round to tackle drugs, and drug-related offending. We do this thanks to the help of our local community who come forward with information which helps us to build a picture of potential illegal activity in an area.
