Two males, including one suspected drug-driver, have been arrested after a ‘suspicious vehicle’ was stopped in Sudbury.
Officers from Suffolk Police pulled over a vehicle in the town yesterday.
A thorough search of it was conducted, during which officers found both drugs and cash.
A spokesman for Suffolk Police said two males, one of whom was the driver, were then arrested.
After a test, the driver was further arrested on suspicion of drug-driving, the spokesman noted.
The vehicle was described by officers as ‘suspicious’.
The spokesman revealed that the force raided a property linked with the drug operations later that day.
At this address, following a search, officers seized more drugs and cash, as well as weapons.
